Flash and I got out for a 4.42 mile loop which we finished in 37:30.
I took mile splits and this is how we shaped up:
-Mile 1: 7:52
-Mile 2: 8:37
-Mile 3: 9:09
-Mile 4: 8:02
-Last .42 miles: 3:48
My legs felt like jelly after the first mile. This has been the most intense and longest week of training yet. Tomorrow will definitely be a rest day. I had personal bests at the 7+ mile loop (8:49 miles) and the 4+ mile loop (7:58 miles); logged 16+ miles of running on the week; got in 1:40:00 on the bike with sprints.
It has been a good week but I feel like my nutrition was a little off due to the stress levels at work. I have a few days off next week, so I can recover then. The Olympics start tonight, so I am pretty sure I will be receiving a good dose of motivation.
