It has been a good rest day. I got in around 30 minutes of core this evening while watching Kitchen Nightmares with my wife who earlier in the day said I could get a wetsuit.
Actually, what she said while day-dreaming about warmer weather was “with your wetsuit you will be able to get in to open water swims earlier in the season, so we should plan to start going to a beach as soon as it is warm enough”. I took that to mean “you should start shopping for a wetsuit”. I have a feeling it will not fit into the budget this year, but since we were day-dreaming, I might as well do a little window shopping.
We stayed up late discussing our triathlon goals for future seasons which was really exciting. As for this season, I have a run planned with Duce tomorrow and am looking forward to it.
