The cold is still with me but I had a green juice smoothie and Duce got me out for a run and as a result I am feeling much better. I was about to pull myself down to the bike trainer when Duce called me to get out for a run. That was a miracle call for me the way I am feeling right now. We took it slow and paced out 6.49 miles in 1:01:10 (9:25 miles). The distance felt remarkably easy for having such a strong cold. We were both able to easily carry on conversation during the run discussing work, kids, training, and the warmer weather that is now settling in.
Tomorrow is the start of a milestone week for my project at work. We will see what I can get in as far as workouts go this week. I hope to simply kick the cold.
